The AJY program is designed to give American Juniors from any university an opportunity to study abroad in Germany. Set in the beautiful Heidelberg, the program gives students the opportunity to study at Heidelberg University, one of Germany's most prestigious universities. Heidelberg University is Germany's oldest university, dating back to 1386. It is a highly innovative university offering up to date classes in almost all majors while retaining its tradition. The city provides even more opportunities to students interested in learning the ways and culture of another country. Heidelberg is only a train ride away from Mannheim, Frankfurt or even Stuttgart. This website is devoted to the students on the program for the winter semester 2002, and to provide potential students with information about AJY, the university and Heidelberg.
